"Reconstruction and rehabilitation of streets, facilities and accessories on the territory of Opaka municipality"

The subject of the present project is the reconstruction and rehabilitation of streets, facilities and accessories in the town of Opaka and village of Garchinovo. The implementation of the project will improve the transport performance and load bearing capacity of the pavement in order to provide conditions for traffic safety, passengers and good street drainage in the two settlements. Other objectives and expected results of the project are to improve the conditions of life and environment of 3080 people and to improve the aesthetics of Opaka and Gharchinovo, ensuring safe passage and residence , creating real preconditions for reducing the dustiness, the risk of road traffic accidents, emissions and noise levels of the streets involved in the project, to prevent the depopulation of both settlements by creating a stable living environment in them, as well as ensuring a direct connection with the Republican road network, and hence with neighboring municipalities and settlements The main target groups that will benefit from the implementation of the project are working people with different levels of education and training, children and young people, families with children, unemployed and seeking employment, people with disabilities, elderly living people, people living under the poverty line, representatives of vulnerable social groups at risk. The realisation of the project will encourage the representatives of the target groups to work and live on the territory of the Municipality, by developping new, attractive investments and as well as attracting qualified specialists. Through the main activities foreseen to be implemented during the project - construction / reconstruction and rehabilitation / construction and author supervision during construction, project management consultancy services will have a positive impact on employment and income not only in the municipality of Opaka, but also at national level.
