Rehabilitation of streets in the town of Maglizh

The project provides rehabilitation activities on "General Gurko" Str. and "May 1st" Str., including repair by milling and replacement of asphalt layers; restore the cross profile at an existing street level; laying of leveling layers and upper wear layer of dense asphalt concrete; recovery of the transverse and longitudinal slope of the street traffic lane of the street section; signaling and marking, as for "General Gurko" Str., they also include repairs to the pavement damage, before laying of leveling layers and asphalt coating; restoring the sidewalks; drainage and drainage facilities; protective equipment. Except for construction - assembly works, are predicted costs and for the following basic activities: consulting services, construction supervision and design and author supervision. After implementation of the objectives set, the expected results are improvement of: living conditions in Maglizh municipality; the access to services, development of Maglizh municipality, improvement of the infrastructure by rehabilitation of streets in Maglizh town. The target groups are: the inhabitants of Maglizh town–3128 people; the inhabitants of Maglizh municipality–9845 people; tourists and guests of Maglizh town. The project objectives are described in section “Objective/s of the project proposal”. The realization of the project proposal will affect directly on the economic development and competitiveness of Maglizh municipality, because it will provide better access of the provided public services. There will be improved the exploitational qualities and the appearance of the street network, which will increase the attractiveness of Maglizh town as a place to live. Other positive results are reducing the unemployment, which will improve the standard of life. This way the support will contribute to the limitation of disproportions in the territorial distribution of the population and depopulation of rural areas, part of which is Maglizh municipality.
