REHABILITATION AND RECONSTRUCTION OF A STREET NETWORK IN AHELOI TOWN AND CITY OF KABLESHKOVO, MUNICIPALITY OF POMORIE

Through the investments in the implementation of the proposed project will be secured direct transport connection of streets from two settlements - Aheloy city and Kableshkovo city within the territory of Pomorie Municipality with a higher class road. The project target group is 27 399 inhabitants of the municipality, as well as the transit and tourists. Direct users of the results will be a total of 5,198 inhabitants of both towns - Aheloy and Kableshkovo. Main objectives: Improving the transport connectivity and renovation of the street infrastructure on the territory of the Municipality of Pomorie; Limiting disproportions in the territorial distribution of the population and depopulation of rural areas; Improving health and social services resulting from improved mobility of the population to institutions; Improving the capacity of the population of the municipality to access jobs and a certain set of services often provided from neighboring municipalities and the regional center of Burgas; Reducing travel time to administrative, cultural and sports institutions in the municipal and regional center; Enhancement of travel safety and comfort; Ensure better access to educational services; Ensure better and quicker access to the workplace of the economically active population; Ensure better transport conditions. Results: improved health and social services due to improved mobility of the population to institutions, reduced travel time to administrative, cultural and sports institutions in the municipal and district center, increased safety and comfort during travel, improved access to educational services, good and quick access to the workforce of the economically active population, improved transport conditions through improved transport connectivity and renewal of road infrastructure.
