Reconstruction and rehabilitation of a street network in the village of Gara Elin Pelin, Municipality of Elin Pelin

The project proposal includes reconstruction and rehabilitation of "Sinanets" Str. and "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Str. in the village of Elin Pelin. New asphalt-concrete street flooring will be placed on the rehabilitation areas and curbs will be replaced and restored. Street shafts will be adjusted and street runoffs will be built. Road markings will be made and road signs will be placed. An accessible environment for people with disabilities will be provided by decreasing curbs. In addition to the envisaged construction and assembly works, the necessary preparatory activities will be implemented to insure project readiness and to apply under the procedure – e.g. consultancy services related to the project proposal elaboration, services for the elaboration of the investment project and services for the elaboration of the report on its compliance. The investments during the project implementation include the necessary activities to ensure the lawful execution of the construction works – i.e. exercising construction supervision and designer's control, as well as project management services. The reconstruction / rehabilitation of the "Sinanets" str. and "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" Str. will achieve restoration and improvement of the street performance, will ensure proper conditions for traffic safety, convenient, safe and economical transportation of passengers and cargoes, comfort of travel and extension of the service life of the infrastructure. This will improve the living environment for the population of Elin Pelin village and its transport accessibility, which will improve the quality of life and stimulate economic development. The reconstructed / rehabilitated Hristo Botev str. will benefit the population of Elin Pelin village - 3370 people, but also the population of other settlements in the municipality, as well as tourists and other people visiting the village.
