Improving the Educational Infrastructure of the Municipality of Valchi Dol - overhaul and reconstruction of the “Vassil Levski” Secondary School, Valchi Dol town.

The project provides to be carried out construction - assembly works – overhaul and reconstruction on the building stock of the “Vassil Levski” Secondary School, including construction - assembly works covered in stage I. In the dining room of body “B” it’s provided to be built two separate ventilation installations. The construction – assembly works for the sport grounds predicts complete replacement of the asphalt flooring in the sport area, painting with anti – slip acrylic paint. The project predicts and replacement of furnishings and equipment including tables and chairs, kitchen equipment, as well as outdoor fitness equipment and those intended for indoor use. After completing of the objectives set, the expected results are improving quality and standard of living, reducing disproportions in territorial distribution, improving the educational environment in the Valchi Dol municipality. The target groups are: students in and the personnel of the “Vassil Levski” Secondary School, Valchi Dol town – 475 people; the inhabitants of Valchi Dol town – 2962 people; the inhabitants of Valchi Dol municipality – 9597 people. The project objectives are described in section “Objective/s of the project proposal”. The realization of the project proposal will affect directly on the economic development and competitiveness of Valchi Dol municipality, as it will provide better access to the educational services. There will be improved the exploitational qualities and the appearance, which will increase the attractiveness of Valchi Dol town as a place to live. Other positive results are reducing the unemployment, which will improve the standard of living. This way the support will contribute to the limitation of disproportions in the territorial distribution of the population and depopulation of rural areas, part of which is Valchi Dol municipality.
