„Reconstruction, repair, equipment and furnishing of the “Otets Paisii – Madan town” High school“

In accordance with paragraph 13.1 of the Terms of Application, approved by Order № 223/08.03.2018 of the Managing Authority Head of Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, the current project corresponds to the main activity eligible for financial support: “Reconstruction, repair, equipment and/or furnishing of municipal educational infrastructure of local importance in rural areas, which includes primary or secondary school funded through the municipal budget or vocational high school under Paragraph 10 of the Transitional and Final Provisions of the Pre-school and School Education Law”. The project includes implementation of construction and assembly works (CAW) related to the reconstruction and repair of the “Otets Paisii – Madan town” High school, including equipment and furnishings without CAW in accordance with the approved investment project in the "Technical design" phase with detailed Quantities Accounts for CAW and Technical Specification of the equipment and/or the furniture for the respective project parts for which was issued a Construction permit to build an object: „Reconstruction, repair, equipment and furnishing of the “Otets Paisii – Madan town” High school“. The project also includes implementation of accompanying the main activity consulting services related to: 1) preparation of the project (implemented before the application date); 2) project management; 3) construction supervision exercising and 4) performing author's supervision during construction.The expected result from achieving of the current project proposal objectives is to promote social inclusion, poverty reduction and economic development in rural areas through the modernization of one of the most important institutions, namely the only secondary school in Madan municipality in which are trained students to twelfth grade, which is a prerequisite for the economic and social revival of the municipality.
