A major problem to which this project application is directed is deepening demographic crisis, which has an increasing impact on the number of students on the territory of Pordim municipality. The modernization of the educational infrastructure is expected to increase the number of students who choose to study at the Secondary School "St. St. Kiril and Metodiy" at the expense of education in the bigger settlements in the neighbourhood of Pordim. The specific complex needs of the students at Secondary School "St. St. Cyril and Methodiy" are related to the poor state of the material and technical base. Improving the educational infrastructure at the Secondary School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius "will contribute to the renovation and modernization of the study rooms, to the implementation of quality education, which is also interested in the business sector. The investment proposal includes reconstruction, repair, equipment and furnishing of "St. St. Kiril and Metodiy" High School in UPI I, district 1B according to the plan of Pordim, with the address: 11 Ivan Bojinov Str., Pordim, Pordim Municipality. The following construction and assembly works are foreseen: - Repair and renovation of sanitary facilities; - Equipment and furnishing of study rooms, halls and administrative premises; - Repairs and replacement of lighting fixtures; - Repair of electrical installations and electrical panels; - Making a playground in the courtyard with audience seats; - Making alley lighting - Repair and replacement of plumbing installations; - Ensure an accessible environment for disadvantaged people. The project also provides for accompanying activities such as exercising author supervision, construction supervision and project management. The main objective of the present project is to achieve a balanced territorial development through a comprehensive improvement of the state of the educational infrastructure on the territory of Pordim Municipality.
