Reconstruction, repair, equipment and furnishing of the Secondary General School "Vasil Levski" in Apriltsi under sub-measure 7.2 "Investments in the creation, improvement or extension of all types of small scale infrastructure" from measure 7 "Basic services and renovation of rural villages" of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020

A major problem to which this project application is directed is deepening demographic crisis, which has an increasing impact on the number of students on the territory of Apriltsi municipality. The modernization of the educational infrastructure is expected to increase the number of students who choose to study at the Secondary School "Vasil Levski" at the expense of education in the bigger settlements in the neighborhood of Apriltsi municipality. The specific complex needs of the students at Secondary School "Vasil Levski" are related to the poor state of the material and technical base. Improving the educational infrastructure at the Secondary School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius "will contribute to the renovation and modernization of the study rooms, to the implementation of quality education, which is also interested in the business sector. The investment proposal envisages renovation and equipment of the building and the yard of the School "Vasil Levski" in the town of Apriltsi for acquiring modern appearance of the School and the adjoining property with location: PI 52218.530.231 UPI IX, sq. 46, FP of the town of Apriltsi. The following construction and assembly works are foreseen: - Rehabilitation of the courtyard (Vertical planning) on the parts: "Architecture", "Constructions" and "Electro"; - Repair of the building by the parts: "Architecture" and "Electro"; - Supply and installation of external equipment/furnishings; - Compliance with the requirements of an accessible environment for disadvantaged people. The project also provides for accompanying activities such as exercising author supervision, construction supervision, elaboration of the investment project in the Phase "Detailed work design" and project management. The main objective of the present project is to achieve a balanced territorial development through a comprehensive improvement of the state of the educational infrastructure on the territory of Apriltsi Municipality.
