Renovation and modernization of Kindergarten "Evlampia Vekilova", Koprivshtitsa

The modernization and improvement of the educational infrastructure building, in particular the Evlmpia Vekilova Kindergarten in Koprivshtitsa, is aimed directly at the youngest inhabitants and indirectly towards their parents, who are looking for a competitor to the educational service in the big settlements. Public infrastructure is a key factor in providing basic services to urban and rural populations and providing access to them. Sustainable socio-economic development of rural areas is inextricably linked to existing infrastructure and quality of services provided to rural populations. The shortage of investment to upgrade existing infrastructure and the inadequate quality of services offered (in terms of cities) is the main element that continues to expand the boundaries of development between rural and urban areas in Bulgaria and which is also an obstacle to creating equal opportunities in social -economic development of rural areas. The investment in the project is aimed at overcoming these differences. The target group, the direct beneficiary of the investment under the project, is 125 children aged 0-7 years, as well as all newborns after the implementation of the project. The indirect beneficiary of the project investment is the parents of the children using the improved educational infrastructure. The project includes the following activities: -Storrent installation works; -Delivery of equipment and furniture; -Exercise Construction Supervision; -Design supervision; -Management and administration of the project. The proposed intervention corresponds to the increasing needs and expectations of the modern society of appropriate public services. Given the negative demographic trends characteristic of the municipality as a peripheral to the capital region, it is of particular importance that the municipality undertake concrete and accelerated actions to improve the quality of life and increase the attractiveness of the region.
