Reconstruction and development of the Lukovit City Garden

The project proposal intends reconstruction and modernisation of the central green space for recreational and leisure activities in Lukovit - the Town Garden, whilst maintaining the primary composition concept of the existing state and at the same time introducing new functional areas in order to socialize the park environment and aligne it with the modern tendencies of urban design. The construction and installation works for the reconstruction of the Town Garden are the main activity in the project and are set out in accordance with an investment project. They are: - complete replacement of the park flooring - siting and installation of new pavements around the green areas - construction of new green areas and flower beds - reconstruction of the green areas around the memorials - reconstruction of the fountain - construction of a new playground - new park lighting for the reconstructed areas - water-supply and distribution of water to the water surface area - construction of a public recreational area - reconstruction of the footpath - reconstruction of existing surfaces, facings, and ornaments of natural stone around the memorials, the flower beds and the fountain - construction of new areas for sport in the open - construction of new water-supply and sewerage systems - taps with drinking water and water surface areas The total area that would be affected covers 26 457 m2, the green areas cover 18 850 m2, the new surfaces are 5 820 m2 and the percent of the planting is estimated to be 73%.
