Renovation of areas for wide public use in the town of Apriltsi under sub-measure 7.2. "Investments in the creation, improvement or expansion of all types of small scale infrastructure" of Measure 7 "Main services and renovation of rural areas" of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020

The network of areas for wide public use on the territory of Apriltsi Municipality plays an important role in the life of local residents as it satisfies the basic social and ecological needs of the population from the territory of the municipality. It is of utmost importance that the network of areas for wide public use on the territory of Apriltsi Municipality is in good condition and with unimpeded and free access. The network of areas for public use in the Municipality of Apriltsi has the following major social and environmental functions: - Recreational - satisfy the needs of sports and recreation; - Aesthetic and Landscape - Aesthetic; - Bioclimatic - inflow of fresh fresh air, improvement of the microclimatic characteristics of the environment; - Ecological - preventing the migration of pollutants from urban and transport activities, producing oxygen, absorbing some of the harmful gases and dust. The project envisages renovation of areas for wide public use intended for the sustainable fulfillment of the public needs of municipal significance - Park PI-52218.530.444 and Square PI-52218.530.411 in the town of Apriltsi by carrying out construction works on the two sites of intervention under the project. Besides repairs will be carried out and delivery of items of street furniture: benches, bins, signs and more. The project also includes installation of equipment for playgrounds. The project includes: Earth works; Road works; Laying of floorings and fittings on sites; Part Electric-park and street lighting; Landscape architecture and landscaping. The project also provides for accompanying activities such as exercising author supervision, construction supervision and project management. The main objective of the present project is the achievement of a balanced territorial development through the complex improvement of the state of the technical infrastructure on the territory of the Municipality of Apriltsi.
