Renovation of a city park, town of Varshets

The project proposal "Renovation of a city park, Varshets" includes activities for renovation of the park infrastructure in the town of Varshets The aim of the project is to simultaneously improve the environment and the conditions for an active and environmentally friendly way of life of the citizens of Varshets municipality, as well as to increase the attractiveness of the territory as a tourist destination to which the specific objectives of the project are directed. Specific objective 1 - Improving the quality of the green system related to recreation of the residents and guests of the Municipality of Varshets through the renovation of the park infrastructure. Specific objective 2 - Support for local economic development and increase of the attractiveness of the territory of Varshets Municipality as a tourist destination by aestheticising the surrounding environment. Project target groups: - 5816 residents of the town of Varshets, who will benefit directly from the results of the project; - over 60 000 visitors and guests of the town of Varshets (tourists); - 1 670 inhabitants of the other settlements from Varshets municipality. Project activities: „Renovation of a city park, Varshets in land 12961.40.913, terrain "Park" wth area of 306 074 sq.m. and in land 12961.420.1 (regulated landed property I-1, sq.75), Varshets with an area of 12 128 sq.m.", consulting services for project preparation and management, construction and author supervision. The total budget of the project proposal is BGN 757 812.81.
