Repair and renovation of sports infrastructure in town of Varshets

The project proposal "Repair and Renovation of Sports Infrastructure, Varshets" provides for the repair and renovation of volleyball and basketball playgrounds, which are located on the territory of the town park in Varshets. The town of Varshets is the administrative center of Varshets Municipality, which is part of the Northwest Planning Region - Level 2 (NUTS 2). The overall objective of the project "Repair and Renovation of Sports Infrastructure, Varshets" is: Improving the quality of life and attractiveness of the business on the territory of Varshets Municipality through rehabilitation of the existing public technical infrastructure. The objective of the project is both to improve the environment and the conditions for active lifestyle related to sports and leisure time development of the inhabitants of Varshets Municipality as well as to increase the attractiveness of the territory as a tourist destination to which the specific / objectives of the project are directed, namely: Specific objective 1 - Improvement of the quality of the sports infrastructure related to the active way of living of the inhabitants and guests of the Municipality of Varshets through the repair and renovation of the sports fields for basketball and volleyball; Specific objective 2 - Support for local economic development and increase the attractiveness of the territory of Varshets Municipality as a tourist destination, through renovation of a small scale public technical infrastructure. The realization of the project's objectives will contribute to the renovation of a small scale public and technical infrastructure on the territory of Varshets. The activities of the project are the following: Repair and renovation of sports infrastructure, Varshets - basketball and volleyball playgrounds, consultancy services for project management and an author supervision. The total budget of the project proposal is 94816,09 BGN.
