Reconstruction of an outdoor sports playground in the town of Lyaskovets

One of the main problems of the region is the lack of financial resources to reconstruct the outdoor sports field in the town of Lyaskovets and to attract resources for the improvement of the sports infrastructure. It is important to underline that the improved outdoor sports infrastructure will be in benefit to 10 sport clubs which are registered and function within Lyaskovets municipality. In the last years there is an obvious trend and an increasing interest to use the sports fields for various sport events, competitions and exercising activities in order to conduct popular sport event organized by local business such as Arcus Ltd, “Grestokomers” and sport club “Brown team” together with the primary schools. The main problem addressed by the project is the lack of modern outdoor places for sport activities at the territory of Lyaskovets where more than 820 pupils, youth and people in active age have no access to improved sports infrastructure. The lack of safe and modern fields for popular sports brings a negative reflection on the overall health condition of the population as the health status of the last years have declined dramatically. The project proposal is aiming to improve the condition of the sports infrastructure at the territory of Lyaskovets and in this way to optimize the cost for the effective modernization and maintenance of sport fields which are a municipal property. With the implementation of the project “Reconstruction of an outdoor sports playground in the town of Lyaskovets” there will be an effect on the improved quality of life and the level of conducting the exercising activities and the following results will be achieved: •Improvement of the sports infrastructure at the territory of Lyaskovets and creating suitable conditions for active sport for the citizens of Lyaskovets; •Expanding the access of the population to a modern outdoor sport field which provides conditions for the development and practice of various sports;
