The project envisages the reconstruction of a sports playground at Dimitar Madzharov Secondary School, Madzharovo. This investment is of the utmost importance for enhancing the quality of educational services in the Municipality of Madiharovo and will have a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the region. Dimitar Madzharov Secondary School - Madzharovo is the only school in the municipality of Madzharovo. It teaches pupils from the 1st to the 12th grade. Due to the significantly reduced number of pupils, which is a natural reflection of the decrease of the population in the rural area, Dimitar Madzharov Secondary School has a protected and central status and has a decisive role in the integration of children of minorities and their parents in the field of education and initial literacy. The existence and preservation of the school gives life to both the city and the municipality as a whole. Increasing its attractiveness, incl. by improving its material base and creating conditions for practicing sport, both in conducting the educational process and in the free time of the pupils of the school, is essential for attracting and retaining them. Through the implementation of the project, the aim of the project is to improve the learning process and diversify the learning process in the field of sports activities by creating conditions for active basketball activities, which will make it easier for young people to integrate and socialize in society. The implementation of the project will support the efforts of the Madzharovo Municipality in its purposeful policy of improving the living standard and the conditions of providing services to the population as well as overcoming the differences between the rural area and the agglomeration areas.
