RECONSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT AND FURNITURE OF SPORT INFRASTRUCTURE in Regulated Plot of Land I, District 70 according to the plan of the town of Sozopol, Sozopol Municipality

The town of Sozopol is attractive with its geographical, natural and cultural heritage. A necessary condition for a city to be attractive to young people is to provide enough and various opportunities for relaxation, recreation and sport. Contemporary living conditions require that care is taken for the massification of physical culture and sport. Keeping the sports facilities in good and safe condition is a prerequisite for attracting more and more young people to the sport. Over one third of the population of Sozopol municipality is under the age of 34 years, which still engages the municipality with the demand for various opportunities for renovation and modernization of the existing ones as well as with the construction of new sports facilities. The budget funds operated by the municipality of Sozopol as well as those provided for capital expenditures are insufficient for the realization of projects of a similar nature. This is also the main obstacle for the municipal management to implement investment projects for complete renovation of the settlements, which would be a basis for raising the living standards in the municipality. Therefore, it has pledged to carry out these activities step by step with the help of various European programs. This project proposal is a concrete step towards resolving the above-mentioned problem. The playground subject to the current project proposal does not meet the modern requirements - the terrain is almost equal, the pavement is asphalt, there is no surface drainage, the metal fence on the course is also compromised. The solution proposed by the design team is to set up a football field on rubber flooring, to remove the old, non-compliant fence panels and stakes, and to install concrete drains for drainage of the course.
