“Repair and equipment of municipal administrative buildings in Byala, Koprivets and Lom Cherkovna, in order to improve their energy efficiency”

The building of the municipal administration of Byala Municipality has no thermal insulation, the joinery does not meet the current legal requirements and the heating and ventilation system is too energy-intensive. The building of the Town Hall in the village of Lom Cherkovna was built in 1970. The main reason for the low indoor temperature in the building during the winter season, even when it is heated by a fireplace, is the lack of thermal insulation. The joinery of the building is mixed - wooden single and glued, metal single and PVC, which, however, does not meet the current normative requirements. The building of the Town Hall in the village of Koprivets was built in 1938. It has the status of an architectural and building cultural value. One of the main reasons for the low indoor temperature in the building is the lack of thermal insulation of the floor, walls and roof. The joinery of the building is mixed - wooden and metal, which does not meet the modern legal requirements. As a whole, the buildings in which the municipal administration of Byala Municipality and the mayoralties of the village of Lom Cherkovna and the village of Koprivets do not meet the requirements for modern office space to provide comfort both for the employees of the municipal and the mayoral administrations, users of the services provided by the administration. The repair and rehabilitation of the aforementioned administrative buildings under the project including the laying of thermal insulation on the floors, the walls and the roofs of the buildings, replacement of the current joinery with modern PVC joinery and replacement of the heating installation of the municipal administration building of Byala Municipality will result in an increase of the average indoor temperature in the buildings in the cold days, improving the working conditions of the local administration and hence improving the quality of the services offered.
