The current project proposal for "Repair and restoration of pavements, fences and others, overhaul of existing buildings of Monastery "Sv. Cheterideset Muchenitsi" in Merdanya, which is a complex of church, residential and commercial buildings is applied by procedure selected by the Program for rural development for the period of 2014-2020 and covers construction and architectural activities and works of the building, fence and yard, as well as restoration. The repair and restoration works will contribute to the full functioning of the Monastery throughout the year. The object of investment has status of immovable cultural property with category of "local significance" and has preserved the spiritual and cultural identity and traditions in rural areas. The project proposal will contribute for preserving the spiritual and cultural life and improving the living conditions of people.
