Monastery "St. Archangel Michael ”, 2 km west in the village of Dolna Beshovitsa, Roman municipality, Vratsa district was declared with a list of 16.11.1971 and declared in SG No. 59 of 1973 as an immovable architectural and artistic monument of culture with category“ National importance". Based on the present project and in compliance with the current requirements corresponding to the nature and status of the monastery, measures will be taken for the overall strengthening of the monastery temple. The church is located in the middle of the monastery yard. The building is a single-nave single-apse church measuring 7.60 m x 5.58 m, vaulted with a semi-cylindrical vault, without arches. It is built with stone walls - quarry stone and travertine, built of mortar. The covering is with stone slabs. The existing masonry structure is strongly compromised, which is evident from the provided photographic material and the project in the part Architecture. the building and while preserving the original and architectural interior. It is planned to do this by means of new load-bearing elements - foundations, tensioners and structural reinforcement by building a carbon mesh through the joints of the facade masonry, which will absorb the loads from the roof and homogenize the wall elements and restore their structural functions. In the technological sequence, construction Ramp;D activities are envisaged, such as impregnation, application of a soldering plasticizer in the area of the joints in order to further strengthen the cracks and hydrophobization of all repaired panels - roof and walls.
