The present project is about an installation for the construction of an additional production of pellets from wood raw material in a pellet workshop, located in the territory of the town of Etropole. The investment intention of the applicant involves purchasing technological equipment for the purposes of the production process. The main raw material for the production is round wood materials for cellulose and firewood from deciduous and coniferous wood species. The capacity of the pellet line is 1 t/ h, together with the existing pellet line (with 2 pellet presses at 0.5 t/h), generates a total capacity of 2 t/h. for the workshop. The annual production capacity of the plant will be 4,000 tons of pellets. According to the elaborated technological project, the workshop is expected to have all the necessary resources for the adequate and full satisfaction of the planned activities for the production of wood pellets. Optimal conditions for production, quality assurance and storage will be ensured, according to the technological parameters and the sequence of operations specified in the design documentation. The planned production activities will be fully in line with the quality standards, hygiene, safety and environmental standards of the process, which are currently in force in the country and in the EU. Therefore, the investor's expectations are that the current project will contribute to raising the economic performance, productivity and competitiveness of the woodworking enterprise. The undertaken activities will support the development and diversification of the economic situation in the area and will create new opportunities for alternative income insurance for the local population. The investment will have a high efficiency when it comes to reducing unemployment and creating employment for residents of the municipality.
