Afforestation, maintenance and implementation of measures and measures for the protection of forest territories from natural disasters and catastrophic events on the territory of Krasnovo village, Hisarya, Reg. Plovdiv.

Restoration of forests damaged by diseases and pests on the land of the village of Krasnovo, Hisarya, Reg. Plovdiv through afforestation with Blagun and Winter oak, as a result of which the fight against climate change will be improved and carbon sequestration will increase, which will contribute to environmental protection and mitigation of the effects of climate change. The main objective of this project is the resumption of sustainable forest crops on highly affected by biotic and abiotic factors coniferous crops of white and black pine - destroyed to over 90%. The areas foreseen for afforestation are owned by natural persons with whom the company Energoles Consult EOOD has concluded management and management contracts. This in turn will lead to the resumption of the destroyed forest crops, the increase of the degree of forestry and the improvement of the sanitary and hygienic conditions and the microclimate, which will prevent the degradation of forests and the development of erosion processes and accommodation of undesirable species - blackberries, hawthorns, , donkey thistle, fern and others. The main objectives to be achieved with afforestation are: • Restoration of destroyed forest crops with appropriate tree species meeting the requirements for afforestation in the Sredna Gora Protected Area and in Natura 2000. • Creating employment for the local population during afforestation and rearing and planting activities. • Creating conditions for development of beekeeping, respectively local business, achievement of ecological effect, and protective functions. • Raising the forestry in the territory of the municipality of Hissarya in order to improve the microclimate. Since the site is not a source of pollution, it will have a positive impact on the environment beyond its borders.
