"Recovering forest damage from forest fires in the forest areas of Northwestern State Enterprise Vratsa- territorial subdivision Govejda"

The project activities include cleaning of burned areas and their reforestation. The activities will be implemented on the territory of Northwestern State Enterprise Vratsa - territorial subdivision (TSd) Govejda. Satisfies the need to increase forestry and restore forest potential. The project proposal will contribute to the recovery of 22.2 hectares of forests damaged by forest fires. The main objective of the project proposal is to restore forest areas destroyed by fire and restore their protective and economic functions. The other objectives and indicators put in front of sub-measure 8.4 will also be achieved. Expected results are of ecological and economic nature. Restored forest areas with indigenous species will contribute to protecting the environment and creating appropriate biotopes for the development of forest fauna. TSd Govejda will keep its forest territories and natural resources, which are the source of passages for the local population, the municipality and the state. The project will also contribute to achieving the planned RDP implementation under Priority 5 "Promoting resource efficiency and supporting the transition to a low carbon and climate change economy in agriculture, the food sector and the forestry sector". Target groups benefiting from the results of the project and engaged in its implementation are the residents of Georgi Damyanovo municipality, TSd Govejda and companies from the region.
