Creation and consolidation of producers’ group Karnobat Milk OOD

The dairy sector at national and European level faces many challenges. As a result of the low purchase price and a number of climatic events during the marketing year, there is an instability in the income of farmers who are engaged in milk production. This is the reason why four farmers have decided to join and apply under measure 9. The main objective here is not to get a subsidy that will naturally help but to find the delicate balance of working in a team. Basically, the group will develop by increasing the number of animals and their milking for the current members. In addition, the members will be provided with consultations, trainings, exchange of experience with Bulgarian and foreign milk groups and other services necessary for the normal production and commercial process. At the same time, mediation service will also be offered to negotiate the sales of milk to the first purchaser.
