Business development of "Bulgarian Organic Foods" Ltd as a recognized organization of producers in the sector of honey and bee products

Bulgarian Organic Foods Ltd. is a organisation of produsers of organic bee honey and bee products, established in 2013. After its recognition, the organization has increased its members, currently having 10 farmers - 9 physical and 1 legal entity. The main objective of the establishment of "Bulgarian Organic Fuds" Ltd. is to support and improve the activity of the farmers, partners in it, by realizing their production in foreign markets and improving their competitiveness. From 2016 until now, the organization manages to realize the unprocessed honey of its members, with the main amount of organic honey being realized as intra-community deliveries in EU countries. The organization's concept is to create long-term partnerships with small and medium-sized consumers of organic honey and bee products by offering high-quality lots of organic honey and bee products, focusing on European origin and product quality. The organization plans to introduce additional quality standards to upgrade the organic production certificate and to apply for PGI. Another direction in which the organization will work hard is the introduction of a system for planning the production process and traceability of products through the use of IoT. Members of the organization plan to increase their production by increasing productivity in individual farms on the basis of their cooperation on the one hand, by optimizing labor and sharing part of their production operations.
