Improve the activities of "ENERGY GREEN" group of fruit growers

The fruit growers group ENERGY GREEN is recognized by Order No 09-78 of 10.02.2017 of the Minister of Agriculture and Foods. The group plans joint actions for environmentally friendly and natural production, harvesting and preparation of fruits for sale, and a common plant protection strategy. We will follow the market requirements, domestic and export, in terms of quality, varieties, calibrations and packaging. The group will put efforts in growing organic products as priority. The members of the group will use natural methods of pollination by placing bee hives in the gardens. If possible, packaging of ecological materials will be used. The group plans to concentrate and market the output produced by members, do annual planning and pre-negotiations with dealers and centralize its sales. Joint logistics from gardens to customers will be developed and cooperative planning of activities for sorting, calibration, cooling, packaging, transportation of finished products will be held to control and ensure high quality. All the members of the Group will accept and implement common rules for the provision of information on production, especially in terms of growing, harvesting, quantities and stocks, in order to reduce costs, improve quality and speed up sales. To increase the skills and qualifications of the group members, they will attend specialized trainings and seminars and two visits to other EU producers will be organized to exchange experience and information about industry innovations. As a result of the support, the farms in the group will introduce cooperative planning, quality criteria and cooperative sales. This will increase the quality and sold quantities of fruits produced by the partners, which will lead to better competitiveness, stronger market positions and lower overall costs. Ecological measures will reduce the pressure on the environment.
