The world in the Black Sea

The main objective of this project proposal is to preserve marine biodiversity and to prevent and restore species and areas / water areas exploited by humans. To this end, the beneficiary and the project partners will conduct research, monitoring, mapping and monitoring of the species in the range from the Bay of Varna to Cape Emine. On the basis of the conducted survey, the following analyzes will be made: analysis of the actual status of the marine environment (oceanographic data) - temperature, salinity, plankton, algae blooms, turbidity, etc .; an analysis of the interaction of all species, the impact of fishing, the impact of the marine environment, which will explain the causes of the actual condition of biodiversity and its deterioration, as well as reduction. In order to reduce the impact of fisheries on the marine environment as well as to reduce unwanted catches, training of fishermen and other persons working for bodies responsible for the management of marine protected areas will be carried out. To increase awareness of the Marine Protected Areas, 4 will be held. conferences, two immediately after the start of the project and two at the end of its implementation.The aim is to reach the maximum number of people employed in administrations, hoteliers, restaurateurs and other providers of tourism products from the benefits of alternative forms of tourism in Natura 2000. The main objective of the project will contribute to the specific objective 1 "Reducing the impact of fisheries on the marine environment, including avoiding and reducing as far as possible unwanted catches" and specific objective 2 "Conservation and restoration of aquatic biodiversity and aquatic ecosystems "to the Union Priority 1.
