Purchase and installation of photobioreactor in a greenhouse for growing and processing algae.

"Algae Bulgaria" LTD is a company that grows algae Spirulina, which is used as a food supplement and superfood. The company wants to modernize its main activity by purchasing photobioreactor to create improved inoculate (a starter culture), which will significantly improve the basic quality characteristics of the cultivated micro algae. The photobioreactor cultivation system is a facility that provides optimal conditions for growing startup micro algae culture. The system allows optimum absorption of the available solar resources, precise control and monitoring of the nutrient medium and precise cyclic recurrence during the growth of algae. The photobioreactor will improve the production characteristics of the algae farm and will significantly increase the quality of spirulina without leading to increased production capacity. The first stage of the production process is the introduction of a starter culture in the photobioreactor cultivation system. Placed at the optimum conditions for algae and precise monitoring program, spirulina is grown to reach a certain maturity and high levels of important quality characteristics such as protein, antioxidants (phycocyanin), iron, beta carotenoids, Omega3 and others. After that the mature high quality starter culture is conducted into the ponds for cultivation where it multiplies and is yielded at a certain period of time. The photobioreactor is an important component of the process of cultivating high quality spirulina for the needs of pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries. The acquisition of such highly effective and modern equipment will significantly enhance the resource efficiency, competitiveness and viability of "Algae Bulgaria" LTD.
