Improvement of the conditions for growing of aquaculture in a fishpond in the village of Mirjanzi

“AKVAFISH PAZARDJIK“ EOOD is an owner of property № 010015 in the land of village Mirjanzi, manucipality Pazardjhik, in a way of use “Fishpond “. The company works actively in the area of growing different kinds of agriculture – sturgeon, carp, cat-fish, crab and etc. In the area of the fishpond there is a building-hatchery, 8 ponds, with an area of about 90 acres and a built infrastructure. The water supply for the fishpond is from a channel , owned by “Napoitelni sistemy “ AD. Annually during the winter “ Napoitelni sistemy “ AD reduces and almost stops the water supply. The fish pond is built over a sand base, it is located near Mariza river and this sand base drains the water from the ground ponds in a few days. The risk of the water supply stopping always exists because of breakdowns or a low temperature. Because of that in these situations it is necessary to transport the existing fish for safe-keeping in another pond or we must sell fish on prices below the market. We want to dismiss these unnecessary expenditures by building a geomembrane installation with attached 9 pieces of aerators. The company has the ambition with this project to work up the capacity in the improving the conditions of life of aquaculture. The investments will lead to the achievement of an effective use of the existing water resource, an improvement of the competitiveness and vitality of the company, including the improvement of the safety and work conditions. This project includes: buying and assembling a geomembrane Installation in one of the ground ponds, buying aerators for improving the conditions of life in the geomembrane installation, buying of a pump for maintaining of the basin with the uterine herd and an investment in the improvement of the safety and work conditions in the company.
