CREATION OF NEW FISH FARM FOR BREEDING AND REARING OF FISH FOR FOOD IN FLOATING NETCAGES AND IN THE FREE ZONE OF THE ARTIFICIAL LAKE "BEBROVO", ON THE LAND OF VILLAGE BEBROVO, ELENA MUNICIPALITY

Project proposal is for installing of new cage system fish farm for breeding of carp (Cyprinus carpio) for food in rented municipal artificial lake - 101,111 decares. The proposed technology envisages purchasing of 6 floating netcages (4 production cages and 2 subsidiary cages) and installing them on a new purchased pontoon base. The rest free territory of the artificial lake will be for rearing other associated species in the context of polyculture - including Grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus), Silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) and Bighead carp (Aristhichthys nobilis) - as main herbivorous fishes, as well as Sheatfish (Silurus glanis) and Pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) - as additional species. The last two species are aimed at future establishment of sport fishery in the region. The project envisages also reproduction process - creation of uterine shoal, as well as breeding and rearing of eyed-eggs and young stock for the own needs of the fish farm. Production capacity of the farm resulting from the copmletion of the project will be as follows: - about 50-55 tones annually from the cage system fish farm. - about 10-15 tones fish from the rest free territory of the lake. The following activities are envisaged: - purchasing of cage system and and installing it on a new purchased pontoon base - purchasing and installing of 6 aerators for deep aeration - installing of system for video surveillance and electric light with 20 solar lamps - purchasing and installing of 4 movable premises - container type - purchasing and installing of 260 m. fence and 2 portal gates - purchasing and putting of 6 protective grids against otters - purchasing and putting of 6 protective grids against fisher birds - delivery and replace of discharging hydrant of the lake - purchasing of diesel aggregate
