Closed recirculation system for Sturgeon fish production

Aquacultures Varna Ltd. is a company est. in 2012 with a major aim of introducing closed recirculation aquaculture growth technology.An aquaculture rec. system with total volume of 50 m³ was bought and installed that same year, in an existent farm building located in Banovo,the Varna region. Installation was immediately followed by successful testing of different species. At the beginning of 2014 the first fish Russ. and Sib.sturgeon was introduced. The company was registered as Fish Farm Banovo by EAFA as per art.25 of LPA under No.03400037, as well as by BFSA as per art.137 of LVMA under No.9144A-0015.The company has as its basic activity aquaculture growth, and its income for the last three years 14,15,16 has been over 50% of total income.The present project proposal focuses on Recirc. Systems and envisages further broadening and innovating of the existing Recirc.farm, by construction and introduction of two new independent rec.systems, with 340 m³ capacity each. The introduction of these resources will lead to an annual increase in production of up to 50 t. These systems will be installed in an existing farm building, so that any expenses on building and construction will be saved. The company is a micro company.New work positions - 6 will be opened, keeping the already existing position – 1.Aiming to improve energy and production efficiency, investments in RES photovoltaic installation on the roof of the farm building, combined with energy safety measures are envisaged in the process of fish growth.An energy audit of the project has been prepared and it confirms the large percent of energy to be saved following the project. Investments for improvement of the working environment are envisaged including PPE, working clothing, rooms for relax, eating and recreation, at the amount of over 1% out of the total investment.Investments in the reprod.-prod. process: purchase of equipment – incubator, etc., thus the fish growth process will be completely closed.
