"Buildings for aquaculture production" in the land area of 010015 "Grahorliva damga" in. Miryantsi, Pazardzhik Municipality

The investor "AKVAFISH Pazardzhik" Ltd. is a small company with a main activity aquaculture production. The company plans to build two buildings for aquaculture and a boiler and to purchase appropriate equipment and facilities related to such activity. The company provides investment and modernization of the reproductive-production process with the purchase of the following equipment - hatchers system and recirculation systems for farming fry. With the implementation of the project it provides a purchase and placement of a pavilion for relaxation and sanitary household needs, which will improve the working conditions of workers. With these investments, the company is focused on the cultivation of African catfish, that has a very good market potential. In parallel, the company will implement some key actions that will lead to the modernization and expansion of existing opportunities as well as complying with all the selection criteria from the current application conditions: • Creation of six new workplaces contract of employment full time. • Keep existing workplaces; • Achieving positive Net Present Value (NPV) by the third year; • Improving working conditions and safety of workers; • Main activity from acquaculture for the last 3 years; • The project meets the requirements for energy efficiency. Materials, structures, facilities and ways of building a new plant for aquaculture will result in a total saving of 117.7 MWh of energy or reducing specific energy consumption per unit of production by 22.4% compared to an adjusted baseline and best practices available. This generates a reduction in greenhouse emissions by 44.27 tons / year. Overall the reduction of energy for the entire system is 11.92%; • Investment in the reproduction-production process; • Implementation of innovations in fisheries - to ensure the quality of incoming fresh water is provided using a filter precipitator patented in the Patent Office of the Republic Bulgaria.
