Expansion and modernization of Aquaculture Haskovo SA.

Vodno Stroitelstvo - Haskovo AD envisages to invest in the modernization of the existing fish farm in "Klokotnitsa" dam by investing in the reproductive and production process. It will harvest carp, toothbrush (colorful toothbrush or hybrids) and white amur, with two types of production facilities being planned - the free water area of ​​the pool and a small cage. The farm's production program includes a full production cycle for carp breeding, breeding of own feed material and fish for consumption. In addition, as a consumable fish, in the free water reservoir of the dam, together with the carp, will be grown colorful toplobs and white amur. The market sector in which the farm will develop is the production of species with very good market potential, which are well known to consumers and have a certain consumer interest. Following the planned modernization of a fish farm and investment in various improvement activities and equipment, an annual production of 95,600 kg of fish is expected, of which 8,000 kg of carp material and 87,600 kg of fish for consumption. The cattle farm will be among the average producers of carp fish (species with very good market potential) and will be able to apply a flexible market policy with the ability to respond to market demands. The project envisages the following groups of activities: I. Activities for preparation of hunting and purchase of technological equipment envisaged in the technological project. II. Implementation of a number of health and safety measures for workers in the enterprise, including: implementation and certification of ISO 18001 and purchase of working clothes. The implementation of the project will allow us: 1. To maintain the existing job in the company, and to create 5 new jobs; 2. Introduce a number of measures on health and safety at work (ISO 18001, Workwear).
