Algae Bulgaria EOOD is a company that grows spirulina micro-algae which are used as a dietary supplement and superfood. The project will provide funds for the construction of an Algae farm in the SPA 000274 land Village of Zimnitsa municipality of Maglizh, where innovative microalgae cultivation technology will be implemented through a recirculating photo-bioreactor cultivation system. Microalgae are grown for raw materials for the pharmaceutical and food industries, so standardization and high quality control of microalgae play a crucial role in the success of the venture. The use of photobiorection systems for the cultivation of microalgae provides an opportunity for perfect control over the conditions of growth and microalgae quality. With the realization of this project proposal, the company will be able to develop and establish itself as a leader in the microalgae market in Bulgaria. The Company aims to meet the following Selection Criteria: - 100% of the company's revenue is from the sole activity of aquaculture - preserving existing jobs and opening up to 6 new full-time jobs - Achieving a positive net present value of the investment within the first 3 years of its realization - application of methods and technologies improving the energy and resource efficiency of the enterprise - 97% overall economy - an investment to provide a safe work environment and improve working conditions by building loading ramp, a recreation area for dining and rest, and additional staff benefits such as a vending machine - investing in the reproduction-production process by providing conditions for inoculum cultivation - starting culture - concentrating on the cultivation of a species with excellent market potential acknowledged globally but neglected in the market research in Bulgaria - introduction of top innovation in the production process
