'Agamemnon 1' Ltd. owns and operates a fish farm, located in the village of Benkovski, Mirkovo Municipality. Fish from the species of Trout and Sturgeons are bred at the farm, as well as fishing fry: for fish farming and for sale to fish farms in the country. A waste by-product of sturgeon breeding is caviar, which is also sold on the free market by the Applicant. The capacity of the available pools at the moment is times higher than the operated one. It is necessary to modernize and expand the fish hatchery of the fish-pond - in order to provide sufficient aquaculture stock for the utilization of the capacity of the basins and increase the competitiveness of the farm. The project provides for investments in the reproduction and production process, comprising as follows: Expansion of the fish hatchery for the production of trout and sturgeon material; Purchase of new equipment for the modernization of the production process of the aquaculture stock; Improving the working conditions and safety of the workers at the fish farm, as well as providing a place for recreation and eating of the workers on the farm. Once the investment is accomplished, the annual capacity of the farm shall be: Min. 50 tonnes of rainbow trout for consumption with an average weight of 0.300 kg; An average of 3 tons of sturgeon for consumption with an average size of 5 kg; 9 tons of aquaculture stock and 50 kilograms of black caviar. A further benefit of the implementation of the project proposal and the investment shall be an energy saving in the manufacturing process of 24,27 %. This saving will contribute to reducing CO2 emissions by 25,05 t / yr. Two new job positions shall be established on the farm to make use of its increased capacity.
