EXPANSION OF THE EXISTING FISH FARM BY BUILDING OF NEW PRODUCTION CAPACITIES FOR BREEDING MARKET TYPES FISHES IN "SHAVARNA" AREA, ON THE LAND OF TOWN LEVSKI

Project proposal is for expansion of the existing fish-farm "Shavarna" by building of 12 decares land-basins for production of fish for food - Carp (Cyprinus carpio) and other associated species in the context of herbivorous polyculture, including Silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix), Bighead carp (Aristhichthys nobilis) and Grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idellus), in the property of new purchased under the project 18,7 decares land. The proposed technology envisages also breeding and rearing of eyed-eggs and young stock after the third yaer next the copmletion of the project. Production capacity of the farm resulting from the copmletion of the project will be as follows: - 24 300 kg Carp , 6 500 kg Silver and Bighead carp, 1 600 kg Grass carp - summary 32 400 kg fish for food annually. - 500 000 eyed-eggs one month Carp and 60 000 young stock after the third yaer. - 208 000 eyed-eggs one month Silver, Bighead and Grass carp, and 17 000 young stock after the third yaer. The following activities are envisaged: 1. Construction works: - Earthworks (excavation). - Fence building. - Video and light surveillance system installing. - Landscaping around the basins. 2. Services: - Introduction of occupational and health management system under specification OHSAS 18001. - Services for preparation and implementation of the project. 3. Purchasing of the land property for project implementation.
