The project envisages the construction of aquaculture farm "Aqua Star" - installation for cultivation of Black Sea mussel in the Black Sea aquatory, southwest of Kavarna town. The chosen type of construction and installation of the mussel farm is the "long line" method, which consists of horizontally disposed collector weave ropes, single-line attachment system anchored to the bottom by concrete anchors held by plastic buoys. The chosen type features high storm resistance, easy installation and maintenance, quick repairs, high performance and reduced hand work. It is envisaged that the installation will consist of 32 long lines, divided into 8 lines of four lines. Each line will consist of two end and three double anchors, with the distance between the rows of 50 m. The chosen model of the installation is in accordance with the hydrometeorological conditions, the authorized aquarium and the field sizes. The company`s market strategy aimed at offering live cultivated Black Sea mussel on the Bulgarian market and export at a later stage of development of company.
