"Mutnitsa 1" Dam is located in the village of Glavatsi, Krivodol municipality and is managed by "Cheh Agro-Hold" Ltd. on the basis of a contract with the municipality. The company plans to expand and modernize the fish farm's facilities and actively develop fish farming. A decision is taken on the basis of research and gathered information about the conditions in the very dam (landscape, depth, temperature and hydrochemical regime watercourses and others.), Studies of the biology of different types of fish such as the potential target of growing and of studies on their production and marketing. The information gathered shows that under the existing conditions there are good market prospects and opportunities in the reservoir to effectively cultivate in polyculture carp, white amur and colorful tolstoblob or hybrids. At the same time, there is an opportunity for the farm to operate as a full-service system and to produce its own carp fishing material. In order to efficiently realize the market opportunities it is envisaged to buy specialized equipment and to carry out construction repairs on the territory of the basin. The equipment is tailored to the specific needs of the enterprise and its efficient operation.
