Modernization of facilities and processes in the production activity of Pirin Fish Farm

The project foresees activities for the production of hatching material, modernization of the fish farm, including the improvement of the working and safety conditions for the workers by: - Performing ongoing repairs to the existing farm hatchery for fish - purchase of new modern equipment - 54 pools for fish breeding; 1 piece fish sorter; 5 transmitters for measuring the oxygen content in the pools; 1 number of low temperature refrigeration cabinet - Organizing training for the improvement of the qualification of the personnel in total 4 modules for 8 hours for each module. For the calculation of the estimated cost of each of the estimated costs, bids were received from firms involved and experienced in the respective activity. For the preparation of the application documents and the FC as well as for the project management, a company is selected which offers consultancy services in the field of preparation and management of projects under European programs. The choice of consultancy firm was made on the basis of the lowest price criterion. The execution of the construction works and the equipment purchased will be delivered after the procedure Selection of a contractor with a public invitation, according to the requirements of the CMD 160 and the instructions of the MA of MFP. As a result of the implementation of the project in a fish farm: - the production processes will be modernized - the quality and quantity of production will be improved - the working conditions will be improved - will reduce the negative impact on the environment - the knowledge and skills of the working staff will be enhanced - an increase in resource efficiency will be achieved by reducing production costs such as water, food, oxygen, etc. These effects are detailed in the technology plan. - 6 new jobs will be created As a final result, the project will lead to an increase in the beneficiary's competitiveness as well as to the expansion of its activities.
