Creation of net cage farm, with adjacent reproductive production facilities for carp, sturgeon, and rainbow trout

Eco Fish Invest Ltd. is a micro-enterprise company founded in 2018, with the main subject of activity "Production of fish, fish farming, production of fish fry, fish processing, trade in fishery products, etc.". Since its inception, the applicant has been carrying out activities to prepare his project proposal for the construction of a net cage farm located in the water area of ​​the Alexander Stamboliiski Dam for the production and breeding of warm water and cold water freshwater aquaculture. With the implementation of this project, the company will meet the needs of consumers at home and abroad for the supply of fresh fish of the carp, sturgeon (hybrid) and rainbow trout species. The main outcome of the project proposal will be to provide an average annual production with a peak of 120 tons of consumable fish from the third forecast years of the business plan. In addition, the company will carry out investment activities in the reproduction production process in order to create its own carp herd. After reaching the maturity of the parents, a subsequent hatching of stocking material for their own needs will be performed. In addition, the company will provide for the carp growing process for carp species that will grow in separated sections of mesh cells on the farm. The main activities of the project proposal are the purchase of specialized equipment as follows: - construction of net cage installations - the purchase and completion of additional production equipment - the purchase of a service vessel. With the implementation of the project, Eco Fish Invest Ltd. will significantly improve the competitiveness and economic viability of the aquaculture sector, as well as contribute to the objectives set in the Multi-annual National Aquaculture Strategic Plan in the Republic of Bulgaria (2014-2020).
