Establishment of full-cycle fish farm for sheatfish (Silurus glanis)

The investment will be carried out at the new Vaya fish farm, Burgas, owned by High Med Tech Ltd. The project aims at creating a sustainable, modern and competitive Vaya fish farm by creting a full-cycle fish farm that includes hatchery and breeding of sheatfish for consumption. The investor plans to create a new modern fish farm by investing in the supply of fish hatchery facilities and machinery and in the production process of rearing fish for consumption. The growing technology ensures and guarantees the health of the produce through daily monitoring and control of nutrition, growth and sorting. It is envisaged the introduction of full-scale cultivation of sheatfish through the construction of a hatchery and a laboratory and investments, related to the closure of the production cycle - the purchase of an upgrade to a vehicle for the supply of live fish, a cold storage and a site for sale of own production. The project also envisages investment for energy efficiency, good working conditions, as well as introducing quality and environmental management systems in the farm. The purpose of the investment is to create a modern farm with optimized production capacity, realize energy, raw material and material savings, with the aim of reducing the negative impact on the environment, securing safety, hygiene, health and working conditions in the Vaya fish farm. with the creation of this fish farm will be guaranteed the viability of aquaculture production of sheatfish in Burgas region.
