Establishment of aquaculture farm and hatchery for intensive breeding of aeter fish in a recirculation system

Aquaculture Silen Ltd. envisages the establishment of a full-scale aquaculture farm for an intensive rearing of sturgeon species in a recirculation system, which will be located in the village of Silen, Stambolovo municipality, Haskovo region. The Project involves the installation of a movable object in the property subject to investment and the purchase and installation of the necessary equipment. The Project also envisages training of aquaculture staff as well as the introduction of a quality control and environmental control system. As a result of the Project, new jobs will be created and the growth in the aquaculture sector will be ensured. Sturgeon species, which are a native endangered fish species in the wild, will be farmed and managed in a controlled environment is beneficial, both to meet the needs of the market and the eventual sale of fish in order to release them to the wild to restore wild populations. Sturgeon species have very high market potential and the Project plans a quick return on investment. The cultivation of stock sturgeon in artificial pools allows for more complete control over the progress of the process: continuous monitoring and management of water quality, nutrition control, prophylaxis, treatment and sorting.
