The project proposal is from the existing FLAG, which implemented strategies for sustainable development of the fishing area, including the municipalities of Batak, Devin and Dospat, in the period 2007 – 2013. The proposal includes activities related to the promotion of the CLLD approach, capacity building for the development of the local stakeholders and the FLAG team, research and analysis, related to the development of strategy for CLLD, activities related to the development preparation of strategy for CLLD for the period 2014 – 2020, and consultation process for the developing strategy. The project will also: encourage the involvement of local population in the development and future implementation of CLLD strategies; support awareness of local population about the opportunity of strategy funding by EFMAF; promote local identity related to the preparation of strategies for CLLD. The proposal also includes management activities that ensure its qualitatively and timely execution.
