Community-led Local Development Strategy of Fisheries Local Action Group Nessebar-Mesemvria

Community-led Local Development Strategy of Fisheries Local Action Group Nessebar-Mesemvria The Community-led local development (CLLD) of Fisheries Local Action Group (FLAG) Nessebar-Mesemvria is elaborated by the local stakeholders in such a way that to meet the local needs and at the same time to take into account the presence of a minimum critical mass of active local people and resource security of the area. The efforts of the local people are focused on the global objective – to create maximum impact on the improvement of the quality of life on the territory and sustainable development of the fisheries sector by the potentials of the CLLD strategy. The fisheries industry could not develop individually from the other economic sectors on the territory. Therefore the CLLD strategy includes measures and activities for its integrated development together with the tourism and service sector, and certain activities - with the wine sector. The integrated nature of the CLLD strategy is evident in the three development priorities identified. Each of priorities enables an integrated development. The objective of this integration is to keep the maximum added value in the chain by joint development of the sectors and to improve the cooperation, the support and mutual commitment. In order to happen new things and to do the existing things in a new and interesting way, is foreseen, that CLLD strategy gives the opportunity and finances new activities and initiatives on the territory. This support will be achieved by prioritizing of projects with innovative features which will receive more points. The innovative activities and projects will be supported in the three of the priorities for territory development.
