The implementation of the project strategy and activities will contribute to boosting employment and territorial cohesion by promoting economic growth, social inclusion, job creation and providing support for employability and labor mobility in communities in coastal and inland regions , which depend on fisheries and aquaculture, including diversification of fisheries activities as well as other sectors of the maritime economy. The activities that will be included in the project are: 1.1: Encourage the development and enhancement of the competitiveness of the fisheries and aquaculture sector. 1.2: Diversification of the economy in the fisheries area, improvement of working conditions and promotion of entrepreneurship in areas directly and indirectly related to the sea. 2.1: Improvement and development of the technical infrastructure for sea-related activities ("blue growth"). 3.1: Environmental protection and climate change mitigation. 4.1: Increasing the role of FLAGs in local self-government, promotion and co-operation.
