Strategy for CLLD of the FLAG Samokov

The strategy of CLLD is directed towards sustainable territorial development, integrating the whole fishing community and the main interested parties within it, for achievement of the vision and the strategic goals. The sustainable territorial development is planned and will be realized, based on the available resources and the development of effective partnerships between the public sector, the private entrepreneurs (business sector) and civil groups (non—commercial sector). The planning process has been based on the searching of balance between the various aspects of the development (economical, ecological and social) and between the various communities, institutions and social groups. The defining of the vision, the goals and the priorities of the strategy is based on the conducted situational analysis with the active participation of the main interested parties from the fishing community. The target groups, to which the strategy is directed, are: representatives of the “Fishery and aquacultures” sector, processors of fishery and aquacultures products, as well as other representatives of the business sector, the public sector and the non-governmental sector in the territory of Samokov municipality. Information campaigns and training activities have been conducted for the popularization and application of the CLLD, research and analysis of the territory, drawing up of a strategy for a local development and establishing of FLAG. The implementation of the strategy for a community-led local development will contribute to the encouragement of the economic growth, diversification of the activities in the fishery and aquacultures sector and outside of it, social inclusion, creation of new jobs.
