"Our hospitable sea - preserving, maintaining and improving the environment, cultural, historical, natural and maritime heritage"

The implementation of the project proposal is closely linked to activities aimed at preserving, maintaining and improving the environment, cultural, historical, natural and maritime heritage, in order to improve the growth potential of the local community. The proposal will be implemented of the territory of the FLAG - Asparuhovo District, Varna-Beloslav-Aksakovo. A book will be created containing information on the development of the fisheries sector and the local community related to the sea in the 3 municipalities, with an emphasis on the history of the First Fisheries School in Bulgaria and the centenary of its establishment. The book will also contain information about the first fisheries associations in Varna and information about the creation of coastal parks and the display of historical landmarksand will be distributed on the territory of the FLAG, respectively in Varna Municipality, Asparuhovo Municipality, Beloslav Municipality and Aksakovo Municipality. There will be 2 one-day conferences with environmental focus. The conferences will invite speakers to familiarize the audience with research and information on the environment and Blue Growth, etc.; 6 thematic exhibitions will be held on the territory of Asparuhovo region, Varna. The organization will take place at places provided to the municipality so that information reaches a large number of residents and tourists from all age groups and sectors, following the principles of horizontal EU policies. Photos will be presented in connection with the theme of each exhibition. More details on the topics of the exhibitions will be set out in point 7 of the project proposal (Project activities).Exhibitions may also include exhibits and /or paintings. All events will be presented with leaflets containing information on "blue growth", environmental protection and promotion of cultural, historical, natural and maritime heritage on the territory of the FLAG "Varna, Asparuhovo-Beloslav-Aksakovo"=
