Processing plant for bivalve, shellfish, fish and other hydrobionates from aquaculture and fishing

This project provides for a major renovation and reconstruction of an existing processing facility for bivalve, shellfish, fish and other hydrobionts from aquaculture and fishing (the first stage - unfunded under the program), situated in the locality of Dalboka, Balgarevo village area, Kavarna municipality, Dobrich district (the second stage funded under the program). The existing building is owned by DALBOKA OOD and is located on the land plot owned by the company. The building will have sites for receiving raw materials and supplies and dispatching finished products. The planning solution of the design and the distribution of the necessary storage, auxiliary, industrial and sanitary premises has been prepared on the basis of the functional relationships between the separate technological operations of the manufacturing process, so that they are optimal and in order to minimize the intersection of material flows and avoid the risk of cross-contamination. The design capacity of the facility for processing of bivalve, shellfish, fish and other hydrobionts will be about 1200 kg / day. The building will be supplied with electricity with the necessary power and natural gas and drinking water with an adequate flow-rate in accordance with the design rules and regulations, while the waste water, after appropriate treatment, will be discharged in the sewerage system. Upon completion of the investment there will be a clean and modern equipped facility meeting the highest standards, which will process own produced high-quality fishery and aquaculture products. With the commissioning of the facility, the working conditions of the staff will improve significantly, sufficient competitiveness of the production will be ensured due to reduced processing costs, high added value of the products from aquaculture will be achieved and market realization of production will expand.
