Preservation of the culture and traditions related to fisheries in the region

The project proposal of the Municipality of Balchik is related to the protection of the cultural values ​​of the region, preservation of the traditions related to fishing and maritime cultural heritage, stimulation of the protection of the marine environment by increasing the knowledge about the sea. This will be achieved through a Forum of Arts and Fisheries, a photo exhibition "Fishing and Traditions", describing various aspects of the life of the fishing community. Conducting a round table on "Environmental protection in the fisheries sector in the Municipality of Balchik, Kavarna and Shabla". The events will be attended by representatives from the municipalities of Shabla, Kavarna and Balchik, the principles of equality and non-discrimination will be observed. The project will also rehabilitate the roof of the Velko Angelov -1940 Community Center in the village of Dropla, where all events will take place.
