VILLAGE, CUSTOMS AND FISHERMEN

This project proposal will cover activities related to the protection of local identity and thus will preserve the traditions and customs related to fishing in the village of Balgarevo, Kavarna municipality. It is planned to start the first culinary festival of its kind in the village, presenting typical and unique dishes for the village. In the last two years, cultural, musical and art events have been organized by the Chitalishte management, which arouse great interest among the residents and guests of the village. The activities that are set during the implementation of the project are: Activity 1:Organizing an ethno-culinary festival event "Black Sea and Village", combining the connection between local traditions, fishing customs on the northern Black Sea coast and authentic cuisine as part of the already traditional: "Melon Festival", "Horo na megdana" and " Children in the square ”; Activity 2:Creation of a museum collection for the local fishing community and a film in order to digitize the local fishing community; Activity 3:Purchase of equipment necessary to achieve the objectives set in the project proposal: 3.1.Furniture intended for the Chitalishte library and the conference hall, the music studio and the exposition area of ​​the museum collection; 3.2.Equipment of a music recording studio and a rehearsal hall, supporting the realization of outdoor and indoor events; 3.3.Acquisition of fixed assets required for the conference hall, rehearsal, music studio and exhibition - computer equipment, tablet, multimedia projector and air conditioning equipment. The implementation of the mentioned activities will lead to the achievement of the set goals of the procedure №BG14MFOP001-4.025 under measure FLAG-SKB-2.2.1 “Restoration and improvement of the natural heritage, culture and sports of the fishing territory” of the CLLD Strategy of FLAG Shabla - Kavarna - Balchik, namely popularization and preservation of the maritime.
