Marketing, ecology and partnership in tourism development - prerequisites for investment and sustainable growth.

The project includes activities that will assist the development of tourism in the FLAG and in particular eco-tourism. Tourism is a major livelihood for local people in the FLAG, as well as a major alternative to fisheries as a business activity. This project aims to support the development of tourism by including a complete cycle of analysis through planning, training and promotion. It is envisaged that a sociological survey will be carried out to identify the baseline data, which, after the relevant analysis, will be the starting point for the development of a marketing plan for tourism development on the territory of the FLAG. An online platform will be created to promote tourism, ecology, marine, cultural and historical heritage in the FLAG. The platform will also provide, in an interesting, interactive way, good practices in relation to eco-tourism. A film will be made to promote eco-tourism, culture, crafts and historical sites in the FLAG. A guide and promotional materials related to tourism promotion on the territory of the FLAG will be developed and printed. Training will also be organized on a topic related to eco-tourism. All these activities will implement a comprehensive approach in an effort to support the development of tourism on the territory of the FLAG - an industry with huge potential and a real alternative for the development of the region.
